The Fresh Face Model Search is a modeling competition available to females enrolled as full-time high school students in grades 9 through 12, who are residents of the state of Ohio. No modeling experience is necessary. The Top 25 semi-finalists will be eligible to model in regional fashion shows throughout the remainder of 2011 and during the 2012 season. The winner will serve as a spokesmodel/fashion model for Jillian's Formal Wear and shall not make formal wear purchases from competing boutiques for formal or school functions throughout her year of contract.

A panel of qualified judges will decide if you make the cut, and the decision of the judges is final. (1.) The first step of the competition is a mandatory, modeling casting call and seminar on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at the Muskingum County Conference and Welcome Center (205 N. Fifth St., downtown Zanesville). You should wear a black tank or fitted T-shirt, skinny jeans, and black stiletto shoes. Be prepared for a runway walk workshop. Those selected for the next round of competition will participate immediately in a video audition. You will be notified by phone if you are selected to advance to the next level. (2.) The top 25 semi-finalists will receive a complimentary 10-frame fresh face photo shoot (with options to add-on) with the top 3 images selected and placed on a comp card for submission to the judges. This photo shoot is a mandatory portion of the competition. (3.) The top 25 semi-finalists will compete in the finals on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Colony Square Mall. Semi-Finalists will be scored in the following areas for the competition: (a) Public Relations (communication skills, warmth/charisma, and ability to serve as a spokesmodel based on a private interview and "go see" with the judges) = 40%; (b) Camera Presence (marketability based on photo-shoot/comp card) = 30%; (c) Stage Presence (physical fitness, confidence, and marketability based on runway presentation) = 20%; (d) Leadership (balance of academic, community, and school leadership) = 10%.

All completed applications must be submitted with a recent photograph, and received by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2011. A $75.00 application/registration fee is required with each completed application. There will be no refunds for any reason. (Checks made payable to Fresh Face Model Search.) The top 25 contestants will be chosen by a qualified panel of judges and will be required to attend a photo shoot with James J Photography.A mandatory rehearsal will be held November 5, 2011, at Colony Square Mall. The Finals will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Colony Square Mall at 4:00p.m, where the top 25 semi-finalists will model one casual outfit from a participating store in the mall and one formal gown from Jillian's. The 2012 Fresh Face Model Search Winner and runners-up will be announced from the stage at the conclusion of the event. All participants must agree to photographs, videotape interviews, and media coverage; granting permission for the use of one's likeness and image.
